A few years ago, I wasn't interested in keyboard. Keyboard was a just typing device.
Someday, I was searching for web and connected to http://www.zoooz.com by chance.
(Sadly, I cannot connect to this site now. You know this site?)
And then, I could find many attractive keyboards. Most of all, I fell in love with Real Force 101. This keyboard has been famous even now, and has many varieties such as 86/87/103 and white/black series. At that time the price of Real Force 101 was 210,000 won, but now the price becomes 360,000 won. (1.5 times more!)
Nowadays, many people collect keyboards and make custom keyboards as hobby. But it is still difficult to tell someone that my hobby is collecting keyboards. Because they cannot understand why collect keyboards and they think keyboards are just cheap stuff. Maybe you guys heard that you are Otaku ;)
But I love keyboards and want that many people visit this site, and become to know real value of keyboards.

- Cherry 3000 (printed Cyrillic letters, maybe you know this)
- Deck Legend (Standard layout & Red led per key)
- BTC 5339 (also printed Cyrillic letters)

keeping keyboards. I'll be happy if I could see your collections.

1) How much do you pay to buy keyboards per month?
2) Do you use all your keyboards or just collect?

I think it went something like this:
1) I used cheap membrane keyboards for years, usually so much until they were entirely worn off the letters and had a terrible mushy feel
2) I remembered that "back in the day" keyboards seemed to last much longer than nowadays
3) I googled around a bit for a high quality keyboard and finally found out about Filco.
I ordered my first Filco through the English site elitekeyboards.com
This was a brown MX switch board and I finally realized that brown MX seems to be too weak for me.
I went ahead and ordered a Cherry G80-3000 with MX Blues locally here in Germany.
This was much better but still felt kinda clumsy and somewhat not as solid as the Filco.
So the ifnal solution was to buy a Filco with MX Blues.. or so I thought.
Despite thinking I would have found the perfect keyboard finally, I still went to buy more.
By now my collection is around 100 mechanical keyboards of all brands, shapes and switches.
My collection has grown that big that I had to rent a small storage room to keep them all in good shape.
Every now and then I still sell off a keyboard or trade it for another one. It has become very much like any other collectors hobby.
Meeting people around the world, trading tricks and parts..
Overall, I think its a nice hobby that mixes a lot of interesting elements into one (electronics, creativity, etc..)
