Please attention. You must use english in this board.
Many online stores sell famous keyboards such as Real Force, Happy Hacking, Majestouch. But most people who visits this site are interested in old-age/rare/custom-made keyboards. And they are found only here or online auction because they have been discontinued. So it is my routine job to open here and check market regularly after I turn on computer. That is continued until I turn off computer.
But it is very boring for me to press 'F5'. Sometimes I think that is wasting time but can't stop. Maybe cool stuff always would be appeared during you are doing other things. So other guys including me also feel inconvenience if you have to be far from computers. And the reason why I have to refresh again and again is that there are too many competitors ;) So you will lost an important chance if you hesitate for a few seconds.
I'm wondering how you monitor market. Press 'F5' like me or have your own way?

It leaves to chance...I"ve never taken a cool stuff by pressing F5 key...It always came to me by chance...
The thing which will belongs to me is decided to be mine Or otherwise I try to looking for...

RSS Feed can be a good solution. But server will be overloaded if many people subscribe rss feeds or checking interval is too short.
So, how about trying this?
On the server side:
1. Server checks whether new article is posted or not.
2. If detected, background process send an e-mail to members.
On the client side:
1. Members are running IMs such as gtalk(gmail.com), nateon(nate.com).
2. If new e-mail is received, popup will be displayed like this. 'New post in Market'
(In case of gtalk, you can detect it though you missed popup because the icon in tray have been changed.)
Then, you can know directly and don't have to monitor all days. Also there is no overload on the server.
It's just my idea ;)
