Hello guys in Kbdmania! Long time no talk.
Finally I am here in Australia and looking for a job. It must be not easy but I should do. I have been so busy that it's been so hard to get chances to visit here.
Unfortunately, the internet connection for Kbdmania here is quite bad. So it can be hard to connect frequently for me. Please excuse about this. (Who cares? :) )
Let's carry on guys, and I hope I can connect more frequently soon.

Hi, nice meet to you.
I envy you because you really did go to abroad and find your way as you mentioned, but I think it only in my mind.
Well... did you go there to study or work? And is it a permanent immigration or just a short trip?
It'll be very helpful if you sometimes write your story here.
Anyway, good luck to you!

I am a permanent resident here. That means, my whole life must start over here. (Actually it's not only mine because I'm here with my family.) It's not short. :)
Of course I would like to have a job, however it's not easy. That's why I attend courses related to programming here. This kinda migration must be risky, so I cannot recommend you to do this. But, if you're not married, it's worthy regardless of your current job and not that risky because you can learn English at least.
Thank you for cheering!

Welcome back! I also suffer from the same problem with kbdmania being very slow. Sometimes if a page has many pictures it takes about 5 minutes to load it up here in Germany. Its like being back in 1994!
Actually I heard only bad things about Australian internet anyway.. I think all their plans have strict limits? But I guess thats not that important for now. Finding a job should be more important.
Good luck on your search!

I've heard about the bad and expensive internet connection here, but things are changed now. I use TPG internet connection in my home and it costs about USD 50 for 180GB per month. It doesn't cut even when I wasted all of my limit. It just shrinks down to 1Mbps when I wasted all of 180GB. Obviously it's worse than ones in Korea, but overall okay to use anyway.
The real problem is backbone to anywhere but in Australia. As you see, I like RTS games, but when I tried to play games with my friends in Korea the total "ping" was estimated like.. about 400ms. HORRIBLE! Eventually I gave up to play Warcraft III. To my luck, the brand new Starcraft II is better to play so I play SC2 instead so far. I think it's because SCII requires more massive (macro) and less micro gameplay than Warcraft III.
I know you are interested with hardware including keyboards. me too. So if you'd like to contact or communicate with me, feel free to write me via facebook, gmail and so on..

The site tends to be very uneven in performance in the USA too. Some times of day, it just doesn't load at all, but others, it can run almost as fast as a US site.I've heard claims that Korean internet service is so fast, the site designers aren't as concerned about efficiency as US site designers. I've noticed a lot of Korean sites I've seen go for graphics in places an American designer would use text I'm sort of interested, because I do site design for a living. I've had it drilled into my head to always favor text, to do the search engines a favour, so it's weird to see a lot of "images of text".I get my work to pay for Internet service; it's like USD60 per month for "7Mbps". They seem to have upgraded to ~12Mbps now, but the price is still very high. We don't have caps YET, but it seems like there isn't much competition except for the top-top section. One firm advertises 40Mbps for like $100 per month, so their competitiors bring out 50Mbps for $120.
